Zbliża się premiera zapowiedzianego już kilka lat temu kolejnego serialu dokumentalnego o prehistorii, Surviving Earth.
Miała być jesienią tego roku, ale właśnie dostaliśmy wiadomość o jej przesunięciu na rok 2026.
Pracuje nad nią Tim Haines, twórca Wędrówek z dinozaurami z 1999.
Jest to 8-odcinkowy serial, który ma się skupiać na masowych wymieraniach oraz życiu zwierząt żyjących w tych okresach. Mimo tego, co ciekawe, według wpisu Impossible Picures, serial nie ma w planach uwzględnić tyranozaura, ponieważ, jak piszą: "czas dać szansę innym teropodom".
Na razie nie wiemy wiele więcej, tym bardziej, że nie został jeszcze wypuszczony żaden zwiastun, oprócz tego, że zapowiadają, że skonsultowali się oni z 300 naukowcami, a wygląd każdego z około 70 zwierząt, które mają pojawić się w serialu został we współpracy zaprojektowany przez paleoartystów, takich jak Gabriel Ugueto, który dziś na swoich mediach społecznościowych ujawnił, że wykonał wiele prac, a także zaprezentował jedną z nich, a mianowicie młodego spinozaura:
