Tak, UCRC PV12 i SGM Din-1 to te same okazy. Ibrahim i in. (2020) nie opisali żadnych nowych szczątków karcharodontozaura. Piszą, że UCRC PV12 to osobnik znaleziony w 1995 r. przez Sereno i resztę ekipy
